Who is GuruLink, and what do we do?
GuruLink is a team of 30+ recruiting consultants based out of both Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver. We’ve been around for over 15 years and have become a dynamic group who is passionate about the tech industry and matchmaking top talent with our substantial (and ever-growing) list of diverse clients in the GTA, Montreal and San Francisco. Our combination of industry knowledge and no ‘BS’ approach to dealing with both clients and candidates is a refreshing change from how people often operate in our industry. We pride ourselves on our ability to work understand candidates personal targets for career growth, delivering proven results for both our client and candidates, and we play hard to celebrate our success!
Where do you come in?
We’re looking for ambitious and hungry recruitment consultants who either already know the tech space or have a genuine interest in learning enough about it to be "dangerous". Successful recruiters at GuruLink are fearless when it comes to prospecting, whether that means sending out personalized targeted messages or pounding the phone and helping professionals take the next step in their career. This is not an easy business to gain momentum in, so we need individuals who can take no for an answer and turn it into something more, or realize that every ‘no’ is a learning experience that takes you closer to achieving a ‘yes’.
If you’re in sales and it’s just not doing it for you, this might be the fresh start you’re looking for. If you come from another industry but think this might be the right move for you, here is who you’ll need to be and what you’d be getting yourself into:
You will be:
-working with some of the most exciting and well-known companies in Toronto, Montreal, and San Francisco
-Building a strategic plan on how to source and screen qualified candidates
-Helping companies build talent strategies, not just recruit bodies
-Building sincere long-term relationships with candidates to help them build a career path and make some of the most important decisions of their lives.
-Thinking of new, innovative ways to improve our proprietary software product
