Here is the skill set our client is seeking:

● Sales - skillfully negotiating non-functional criteria with senior stakeholders in the largest global institutions.

● Engineering - designing and deploying infrastructure, installing the Platform, ingesting data, troubleshooting, scaling and carry out performance tuning.

● Analytics - sifting through data, quantifying behaviors and surfacing insights.

● Leading projects - planning delivery, coordinating resources and driving execution.

Our client is seeking talented engineers, who will implement complex technical projects for the biggest brands in Financial Services and beyond. You will report directly to the Head of Delivery and your influence will be felt across the entire deal cycle: from bidding and project scoping for PoC projects, to global production roll-outs.

Must Have Skills:

Here are competencies that describe you:

● Demonstrable expertise in at least one scripting language;
● Operating system, storage, database and networking fundamentals;
● Linux and open source application/data platforms; and ○
● Public cloud services - AWS or GCP preferred.


Here is a list of of skills that will move you to the front of the line:

●Deployment and management of distributed architectures comprising J2EE/Hadoop/HBase/Elasticsearch/Spark;

●Experience with managing Linux-based systems with at least one modern configuration tool such as Saltstack/Chef/Puppet/Ansible;

● Planning and implementation of infrastructure or development projects;

●Sales engineering experience involving negotiation of project/contract terms with key stakeholders;

●Design/implementation of Highly Available and secure enterprise software solutions;

●Systems integration, good understanding of HTTP(S), REST, (S)FTP, LDAP, TCP/IP;

●Knowledge and application of statistical methods and Machine Learning algorithms.
