As a Product Manager, you will work as part of a small down-to-earth team to build software that is used by thousands of people every day.
The successful candidate will be driven by their ability to make an impact. This is a highly visible role, that requires adaptability to different situations, project management methodologies and technologies.
Product Manager Day to Day:
Involved in Program Backlog refinement in collaboration with other POs
Participates in reviewing and contributing to the vision, Roadmap, and content presentations
Utilizes standardized corporate processes and practices for defining Epics and work items that align to Program Epics and Projects (Stories)
Involved with story definition, providing clarifications necessary to assist the team with their estimates and story sequencing,
Supports corporate objectives by ensuring priorities and planning are aligned with Goal, Iteration Execution
Participating in development of story acceptance criteria, This includes validation that the story meets acceptance criteria and has the appropriate, persistent acceptance tests and that it otherwise meets its Definition of Done.
Applies technical knowledge, ensuring that Non-functional Requirements are included and incorporated into the Iteration
Coordinates dependencies with other Product Owners
Gathering detailed level of requirements from stakeholders and customers
Must Have Skills:
Minimum 3 years experience in a software/tech development environment – Experience in a tech startup preferred.
A degree in business, computer science, engineering or equivalent
High-level of competency required in effectively eliciting and documenting product requirements
Well versed in the principles of Lean, Agile, Kanban
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage competing priorities, adjust for risk, and prioritize the product backlog
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with contact centre software
Experience working in hybrid environments (waterfall and agile)
CSPO or equivalent
