The Day to Day:
- Leadership - Be an influencer and leader of a team of 12 reports - Help them, mentor them, and grow this team
- Develop, promote, and enforce infrastructure and technology best practices
- Have an impact on roadmap and strategy
- You will provide technical direction in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, Information Security and Tech Ops
- As the owner of the on-prem and cloud products, you will be a major contributor in their improvement, scalability and reliability
- Always improving the infrastructure and security monitoring and alerting
- Own, monitor and improve infrastructure and cloud spending
- Continuously assess and identify inefficiencies and work with other leaders to address them
- Manage and harvest relationships with vendors and technology partners
- Validate and provide input to infrastructure for new initiatives
- Evangelize security awareness across the organization

Must Have Skills:

- BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of practical hands-on technical experience combined with strong management and communication skills.
- Experience managing 24x7 operational support for mission critical revenue generating mobile applications through the use of SRE best practices.
- Strong troubleshooting experience and skills to resolve incidents across multiple domains
- Ability to cultivate and support a strong operations culture with focus on business continuity, security, compliance, and self-motivated innovation
- Demonstrated ability of establishing and maintaining metrics-based process improvement
- Experience in building, mentoring and managing strong technical teams
- Excellent communications, organization, and time management skills
- Strong practical experience in cloud computing (AWS, GCP and hybrid cloud) and Kubernetes
- Experience with Nutanix is plus
