Job Description

Our client's machine learning platforms leverage automotive assembly and vehicle data to detect the earliest indicators of future product failures. They help automakers optimize quality, safety, and reliability throughout the entire product life cycle, from the assembly line to the finish line.

About this job:

As a Machine Learning-Ops Engineer, you will work closely with the Data Science, UI and Backend Engineering departments to create a full machine learning lifecycle and develop tools for various products. The SaaS platform which our client has built enables automakers to identify anomalies in production data for enhanced testing, accelerated root cause analysis, and improved manufacturing output. Their SaaS platform enables predictive maintenance of connected and autonomous vehicles based on production, maintenance and on-road data.

Must Have Skills:

•solid grasp of software engineering fundamentals
•3-5 years of programming experience(primarily backend)
•proficiency in Python for both Machine Learning and automation
•hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools e.g. terraform/ansible/chef
•solid experience with cloud platforms - Azure/AWS/GCP is highly desired
•hands-on experience with deploying containerized/Docker applications in the cloud
•experienced in implementing CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or Azure Pipelines
•good understanding of fundamental Machine Learning concepts, hands-on experience in model deployment preferred
•hands-on experience with building scalable, reliable and maintainable cloud native microservices

Nice to Have Skills:

•experience in productionzing of Data Science projects (Machine Learning-Ops) using at least one of the popular frameworks or platforms (e.g. Kubeflow, AWS Sagemaker, Google AI Platform, Azure Machine Learning)
•hands-on experience with test automation
•familiarity with Agile framework (Scrum/Kanban) JIRA/Azure Boards
•hands-on experience with of monitoring, alerting and visualizing key ML metrics
