Job Description

As a Software Developer you will join a talented team of individuals and play an important role in designing, developing, and maintaining exciting responsive software solutions.

You will be part of a team working on a range of Scheduling/Planning solutions for fixed route public transit and paratransit. You will work on a variety of development tasks in a growing organization and focus on our web creation of modern web-based solutions/products while maintaining and upgrading our existing products. You will participate in cross-functional teamwork such as code-review, documentation, and defining specification.

Responsibilities:


Lead a team of Software Developerís to deliver on time and maintaining high standards of software quality by establishing good practices and habits.
Hands-on involvement in development, design, architecture, and code review
Apply principles and methodologies of scrum agile development practices
Maintain regular communication with the stake holders to ensure quality and timely product deliveries
Ensure that technical and quality standards are applied throughout the software development lifecycle
Review and analyze the effectiveness of existing applications and develop strategies to improve the systems in place.
Identify and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the team.


Must Have Skills:

Bachelorís Degree in computer science or equivalent
Must have 7+ Years of experience in Software Development
Prior Leadership/Management experience with a proven success track record is preferred
Experience working with both Front-end and Back-end technologies (C++, C#, Angular, and/or Javascript)
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to translate requirements into technical design
Ability to conduct thorough code reviews and provide valuable feedback to other developers
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Strong belief in Leadership and accountability.
