Job Description

The Senior DevOps Engineer will be responsible for supporting the design and implementation of secure, scalable applications and infrastructure across both private and public cloud-based environments.

The Senior DevOps Admin works with the Development and Operations teams to:
● Automate the following with CI/CD tools:
o Build, Package and Deployment of applications
o Management of the monitoring and alerting systems
o Test
o Environment creation Integration with security applications and tools (static code analysis)

● Manage infrastructure as Code, includes but not limited to
● Automation as Code
● Deployment as Code
● Configuration as Code
● Plan application, data, and infrastructure lifecycles with a strong security focus,
● Work with Development to create POC, prototype applications, and run performance and scalability tests
● Assist end-to-end troubleshooting
● Perform deployments and other scheduled changes to test environments
● Support the development and testing efforts of the Technology, Design, Product Management, and Marketing teams


Must Have Skills:

Required Experience:
● Strong experience in Java/Spring and Node.js/React applications, include but not limited to,
o Build source code
o Configuration management
o Runtime management
o Monitoring application log and metric

● At least four years working with automation framework, such as Ansible (preferably), Puppet, Chef or Salt
● Scripting/Coding experience in Bash, Python, Perl, Java etc.
● Strong familiarity and experience with AWS
● Extensive experience and knowledge in setting up and operating Kubernetes/Docker environments
● Experience with monitoring framework and creation of sophisticated operational dashboards
● Experience with modern infrastructure and APM tools (such as New Relic or Dynatrace)
● Understanding of end-to-end HTTP traffic workflow (include but not limited to Cloud, Kubernetes)
● Understanding of data security and privacy practices
● Extensive experience with CI/CD tools and methods (Jenkins preferred, Bamboo, TeamCity)
● Strong knowledge of Git, Linux, Consul, microservices
● Agile/Scrum methodology
● Working experience in a fast-paced Operations environment
● Degree or diploma in computers, engineering or mathematics, or relevant experience
