Our client is a custom consulting firm that designs and builds high-performance, enterprise solutions with accentuation on robust architecture, and a perfect user experience.​ They are looking for a DevOps Engineer to add to their growing team of 100 plus people here in Toronto. What You’ll Do:
-Work with our clients and project teams to deliver solutions using modern DevOps tools and best practices
-Collaborate with software developers and IT teams
-Take ownership of the build, release, and configuration management of production systems
-Deploy, automate, and manage on-premise and cloud (AWS, Azure) based systems to ensure high availability, performance, scalability, and security
-Troubleshoot issues across various platform, network, and application domains
-Maintain processes, documentation, and procedures
-Make recommendations and provide continuous systems and process improvements

Must Have Skills:

-5+ years of DevOps experience maintaining large-scale infrastructure, supporting production workloads, code deployment pipelines and configuration management
-2+ years of experience supporting large cloud deployments (AWS or Azure or Google)
-Experience with DevOps technologies such as Jenkins, Maven, GitHub, including Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift
-Experience with git/GitHub or other version control software
-Experience coding to automate system-level deployment tasks using developing/deploying/supporting frontend/backend web applications interpreted languages (Java, Python, etc.)
-Experience with Scripting Languages (Python, Shell, PowerShell)
-Experience in creating Jenkins CI/CD Pipelines.
-Experience in integrating Jenkins CI/CD Pipelines with Static Code Analysis tools such as SonarQube and DevSecOps tools.
-Familiarity with deployments in Cloud, preferably Azure.
Define continuous delivery processes in full compliance with client’s information policies, to simplify workflows and automate the integration and deployment of a wide range of applications to internal customers and allow the iterative creation of value in small increments.
Deliver and maintain documentation and artifacts to allow the client to continuously improve its development, operations and troubleshooting procedures and tools.
Contribute into improving standards, guidelines, practices and metrics across the development life cycle of a wide variety of applications (on-premises and in the cloud)
