Job Description

Our client was founded in 2008 and are today one of the largest and most reputable tattoo studios in the world with over 60 artists that specialize in Asian, Realism, Fineline, Blackwork, Illustrative, and other styles. They have been fortunate to win over 100+ industry awards across multiple styles from the most prestigious conventions around the world.

They're now looking for a Lead Engineer who is a team player that is also comfortable working independently and having ownership over the product to help take their new native app over the finish line.

Must Have Skills:

● Experience with the full mobile application development lifecycle from testing to deployment and updates
● Experience providing technical team leadership and mentoring developers
● Well versed in both Android and iOS application development
● Well versed in Ruby on Rails application development
● Ability to assess and optimize existing aspects of an application to improve both performance and user experience
● Work closely with the design team to ensure pixel perfect UI is delivered to the user regardless of their device
● Experience implementing CI/CD in a mobile application context
● Unit Testing
● Implementation of Application fault/error monitoring
● Excellent understanding of industry best practices
● Ability to create documentation


Nice to Have Skills:

● Experience using Geospatial information
● Knowledge of Server infrastructure and setup
● Loves working close with the product team on ideation and brainstorming of new ideas or how ideas can be implemented
● Ability to mentor and teach Jr. developers
● Experience developing external SDKs
