Job Description

Leading SaaS Electronic Health Record (EHR) provider is seeking a Business Analyst to join their team.

The Business Analyst (BA) is responsible for ensuring that the development of products and features is consistent with the long-term strategic plan of the company, as determined by the CEO.

In practice, the BA gathers information from internal and external stakeholders and produces requirement documents that outline end-user challenges from a business/customer's perspective. They work in collaboration with internal subject matter experts and development teams to design/implement solutions that resolve business/customer challenges within agreed timelines, and budgets. They also consult with internal stakeholders to enhance existing solutions or clarify their expected behaviour.

Responsibilities:

● Understands the needs and experiences of end-users and advocates on behalf of them
● Researches market trends and relevant technologies to support product improvements
● Designs new system solutions by analyzing requirements, studying system capabilities and writing specifications
● Improves processes by studying current practices and leading effective changes
● Ensures that proposed changes to systems receive appropriate business, user and technical analysis and are appropriately documented for tracking and auditing purposes
● Ensures that all relevant internal stakeholders are appropriately represented in requirements
● Prioritizes and plans the release of new features or modifications
● Organizes working meetings such as retrospectives and estimation sessions with development teams
● Proficient in English language


Must Have Skills:

● Experience writing user stories
● Experience with using Jira/Asana/Trello or similar tools
● Experience with leading change within an organisation
● Experience working as a care worker/nurse or other capacity within a health care environment (plus)
● Experience working in a similar role within a software company (plus)
● Project/product management experience
● Proficient in English language
