We are in search of a Toronto/GTA based candidate to contribute to our Platform initiatives, including APIs, Org Setup and Permissions, reusable tools, search, and more. The candidate will have the opportunity to join a well-funded, rapidly expanding technology startup and play a crucial role in the company's growth.

As a Senior Technical Product Manager you will:

Acquire in-depth knowledge of the commercial subcontracting industry and become passionate about addressing its challenges
Manage product functionality from conception to customer adoption
Understand customers' organizational structures, processes, and requirements from their operations platform
Assume responsibility for org setup, tools, and API roadmap to shape the platform, enhance user experience, and build reusable tools for scalability
Collaborate with other Product Managers to identify common needs and devise innovative technical solutions that cater to multiple use cases and expedite development
Make difficult decisions regarding priorities while explaining the rationale behind them
Handle challenging situations by transforming ambiguity into clarity
Foster an inclusive culture

Must Have Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
At least 3 years of experience in technical product management, preferably in a SAAS startup environment
A minimum of 3 years of experience in engineering roles, designing APIs, integrations, platforms, and tools for other engineers
Solid understanding of agile development methodologies and experience working in an agile environment
Exceptional communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Robust analytical skills and data-driven decision-making abilities
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or Information Technology

Nice to Have Skills:

Experience in defining the vision and ownership of an API platform
Familiarity with the commercial contractor industry
Knowledge of construction, procurement, or accounting software
Experience with Service-oriented SAAS platforms
