Job Description
Our client is a North American leader in the finance and lending space. They are looking for an experienced Technical Lead to join their growing engineering team and support an integral business unit of the organization.
In this role, you will be responsible for leading the design, build, and maintenance of APIs, services, websites, and internal tools. You will also work with other junior backend and frontend engineers in the team to integrate solutions into our product flows. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of ownership of the features they build, a good understanding of product development, and a focus on solving engineering problems. You should have proven experience in building backend/front end solutions from conception to production. You should also have experience leading (directly/in-directly) a team of engineers.
Must Have Skills:
Requirements:
-Minimum 10+ years of software development experience
-Strong experience in building systems using Python
-Experience in designing and implementing REST APIs and microservices architecture
-SQL experience with a good understanding of relational database design
-Ability to write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code
-Experience with Agile software development methodologies
-Good communication and collaboration skills
-Experience mentoring/leading junior/intermediate/senior engineers (at least a team of 4)
