If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our dynamic and forward-thinking team as a Growth Team Lead. As the Lead Developer for our Growth Team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the onboarding and adoption experiences for new users. You will have the opportunity to scope, design, and lead technical projects, ensuring our products evolve and scale iteratively. Your strong background in data engineering and analytics, combined with your experience in A/B testing and rapid prototyping, will be essential to your success in this role.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Prototype, Build, Experiment, and Maintain Onboarding and Adoption Experiences: Create seamless and engaging experiences for new users.
- Quick Insights and Iteration: Implement partial solutions to gain quick insights, then decide whether to strengthen and automate the solution or discard it based on learnings.
- Lead Technical Projects: Scope, design, and oversee technical projects from inception to completion.
- Data Engineering and Analytics: Design and build client libraries and frameworks to log events and track user behavior accurately.
- Build Data Pipelines: Develop data pipelines that monitor key product metrics and measure the impact of various strategies.
- Experimentation Infrastructure: Integrate different parts of our experimentation infrastructure to enable comprehensive measurement and personalization of user experiences.
- Cross-Functional Communication: Effectively communicate with different teams, derive requirements, and architect shared datasets.
- User Experience Focus: Advocate for the user, ensuring our products are intuitive and user-friendly.
- Build vs. Buy Decision Making: Evaluate when to build solutions in-house vs. buy third-party solutions, including the use of AI-assisted tools.
Must Have Skills:
What You've Done:
- Proven experience in leading technical projects and teams.
- Expertise in rapid prototyping, mockups, and POCs.
- Strong background in data engineering, analytics, and A/B testing.
- Demonstrated experience in full stack development and front-end frameworks.
- Proficiency with our tech stack: AWS, SQS, C#, SQL, .NET, Mongo, ElasticSearch, and React.
- Familiarity with analytics and user engagement tools: GoogleTagManager, Google Analytics, Segment, Amplitude, Intercom, Appcues, Datadog.
- A strong focus on user experience and usability.
