Job Description

Our client, an advanced R&D division of a global fintech firm, has recently launched an ML-powered fraud risk management (FRM) platform designed for fintechs, banks and eCommerce marketplaces with high transaction volumes. This product was developed from scratch at its innovation lab due to existing fraud management systems not being fast enough or robust enough to handle the hundreds of millions of decisions required each day by the parent company.

Our client is looking for a passionate and expert Product Manager to develop capabilities for a highly scalable Fraud and Risk Management (FRM) platform. If you’re interested in the payments space and have an understanding of, or are curious about, fraud prevention, this might be for you.

The candidate will have experience in talking to customers, collaborating with design on research, capturing the learnings in requirements in robust lightweight docs, and working with dev teams to build out a stable, operationally lightweight solution at speed. Their belief is that building quickly in short cycles makes a better product. They're looking for someone who can distill the real customer needs, understand the need to move fast and deliver to the end customer, collect feedback and refine in a tight cycle. Responsibilities:

• Define and articulate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with the company's overall goals and market trends.
• Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews to identify market opportunities and prioritize product enhancements.
• Collaborate with the executive team to develop a product strategy that differentiates our Feature Hub SaaS product and drives customer satisfaction and revenue growth.
• Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality, market-ready features and solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud streaming, storage, pipeline orchestration and other cloud technologies.
• Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and user-centric design within the product team.
• Implement best practices for agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, backlog management, and release cycles.
• Define and track key product metrics, monitor product performance, and analyze user feedback and behavior to drive data-driven decision-making.
• Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for product enhancements.
• Regularly report on product performance, roadmap updates, and key milestones to the executive team and stakeholders.


Must Have Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Proven experience (8+ years) in product management or related roles, with a focus on SaaS products, preferably in the big data analytics domain.
• Deep understanding of real-time and batch data architecture, big data analytics for reporting and machine learning, data modeling, and big data cloud services.
• Familiarity with SQL and Python programming languages and cloud services like Apache Kafka, Spark, AWS S3, Cassandra, APIs is a preferred
• Strong track record of successfully leading and launching complex, high-quality software products.
• Experience with agile development methodologies, user-centered design principles, and product management best practices.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven mindset.
• Proven ability to navigate a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
