Job Description
Our client is a boutique consultancy driving innovative product development, technology strategy, and applied AI research, specializing in healthcare, biotech, and deep tech. They help founders and executives de-risk their tech development so they can launch faster, grow smarter, and achieve their vision. They have successfully taken over 20 companies to market with an MVP and beyond, establishing domain expertise with numerous specialized mandates in healthcare, life sciences, and biotech.
Their team consists of tech experts and startup enthusiasts with hands-on experience in key industry niches, including medical devices, clinical trials operations, pharmacy management, and digital biomarkers. As the product-development arm of the company, a prolific venture studio and early-stage VC, they bring unrivalled proximity to venture capital and associated fundraising and board reporting expertise.
A note on location: They primarily sell in US markets. Canadian candidates are welcome, but they would like to see a track record of selling into healthcare organizations in the US specifically.
They are seeking a driven and results-oriented Sales Executive to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the healthcare sector and bring with them an extensive network of industry contacts. Your primary responsibility will be to generate new business by identifying potential clients, presenting their services, and closing sales deals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the healthcare and life sciences broadly.
- Leverage your existing network to generate leads and build new client relationships.
- Present our client's services and solutions to potential clients.
- Negotiate and close sales deals to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Collaborate with the technical team to ensure the feasibility of sales and to ensure their client requirements are met.
- Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions to identify opportunities for growth.
Must Have Skills:
- Proven experience in sales, with a strong track record of generating new business in the healthcare sector.
- Established network of contacts within the healthcare industry or some subset(s) of it – e.g. payers, providers, pharma, medical devices.
- Interested in building the future of their consultancy and contributing to strategic vision, in particular as it pertains to AI in healthcare.
- Proven ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Technical background and/or experience selling data/analytics products or hard technology products is a bonus.
- Experience in selling consulting services is a strong bonus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
