Job Description
Our client is a North American leader in finance and lending. They are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer to support real-time business growth.
In this role, you will be spending a significant amount of time in:
-Data Pipeline development (designing and maintaining ETL pipelines)
-Cloud platform integration (working with cloud platforms and their data-related services)
-Data Modeling and warehousing (designing and implementing data models for warehousing, all while ensuring data quality and security standards)
-Working closely with analysts and other business stakeholders
This is a long-term permanent role.
Must Have Skills:
The ideal candidate will have:
- 6+ Years of experience working with Python (coding and scripting)
- 6+ Years of experience working with SQL
- 4+ Years of experience working with Snowflake
- 4+ Years of experience working with Cloud Systems
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience working with other databases (PostgreSQL, MS SQL)
- Experience working with GCP
- Experience working with Airflow
