Job Description
Our Client is rapidly expanding its U.S. Sports and Casino iGaming footprint and is hiring a Senior Vice President of Operations to lead and scale core operational functions across North America. This executive will own end-to-end operational performance across Customer Service, Gaming Finance, Fraud, Responsible Gaming, and Technical Compliance, ensuring smooth market launches, regulatory excellence, and a best-in-class player experience.
This is a high-impact, growth-stage leadership role with direct influence on national market expansion and long-term operational strategy.
Responsibilities:
Operational Excellence: Build a best-in-class operations model using automation and technology across payments, fraud, and new market launches. Executive Leadership: Lead Customer Service, Gaming Finance, Fraud, and Technical Compliance teams across hiring, performance, development, and accountability.
Market Launch Execution: Partner with cross-functional leaders and Project Managers to ensure seamless operational readiness for new state launches.
Escalation & Risk Management: Act as senior escalation point for critical incidents and operational risks.
Vendor & Payments Strategy: Manage key third-party relationships, including payment providers, to enhance product depth and player experience.
Process Optimization: Drive continuous improvement of KYC, payment, and compliance tooling in partnership with Product and Engineering.
Strategy & Growth: Shape the North America product roadmap, market strategy, and long-term expansion plans.
Regulatory Leadership: Ensure strict adherence to all regulatory, technical compliance, and Responsible Gaming requirements across jurisdictions.
Data & Performance: Own operational KPIs, reporting, and performance optimization in partnership with Analytics.
Budget & Workforce Planning: Lead operational budgeting, workforce planning, and market benchmarking.
Culture & Development: Champion company values while building a high-performance, accountability-driven culture.
Must Have Skills:
7+ years of senior leadership in online gaming, sports betting, or casino operations.
Proven success launching new markets, scaling teams, and driving performance in high-growth environments.
Strong balance of strategic thinking and hands-on operational execution.
Exceptional communication, collaboration, and stakeholder leadership skills.
Deep commitment to compliance, player protection, and Responsible Gaming programs.
Willing and able to obtain state gaming licenses as required.
